Old School Mews Broadstairs Details

A delightful and welcoming, family-friendly cottage just minutes from the picturesque, child friendly sands of Viking Bay  and the traditional seaside town centre which hosts a mix of fine eateries, nostalgic tea rooms and the famous Morelli's retro ice - cream parlour on the seafront. Not forgetting the quaint little cinema, penny arcades and mini golf which will keep everyone, young and old, amused for hours. At the end of a busy day, you can return to Old School Mews and relax in this spacious and comfortable house, divided over two floors, and enjoy a glass of something refreshing outside in the private and secure enclosed courtyard.  Shop: 100 yards  Pub: 200 yards Coast: 400 yards

When you first arrive at Old School Mews, one of your initial questions may be, where can you park. There is on-street parking opposite the Mews in Shutler Road, which is without restrictions. There is further road parking on the Eastern Esplanade, which is a short walk away. 

Albion Street Car Park is situated at the end of Church Road (Sat Nav CT10 1NF). Broadstairs Harbour Car Park is on the Jetty (Sat Nav CT10  1TY). Both are in close proximity, a short stroll from the Mews. These are long stay, pay and display parking and the charges are seasonal. Charging period 7am – 10pm. Other car parks in the town include Vere Road and Chandos Square.

The cottage offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, separate ground floor toilet and  lounge/dining/kitchen open plan space. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, an electric oven and a ceramic hob. A combi boiler supplies constant hot water. There is also an iron and ironing board, along with crockery, cutlery, glassware, dining table and chairs and lots of storage space. You will also find a vacuum cleaner under the stair case. There is a selection of books and DVD’s for you to use during your stay inside the sideboard in the living room.

The cottage has a lovely courtyard which is walled and gated with seating. Ideal for sitting out in the sunshine!
